Town Auditor?

Probably not, and if you try to find the "steps" to hold your "target" accountable by established procedures, it wont be easy.

Try www.house.gov and do a search for "impeachment". Do you find the exact procedure? No.
Try www.senate.gov - Same Result!
Try www.google.com - Better yet don't - you'll get more confused than I did!

I've taken weeks to try to find a simple method to get started if I needed to, but wanting the facts in front of me, I found it almost impossible. That doesn't mean I'm giving up, just that I'm going to use "multiple sources" such as writing to the media and having anyone that looks at this blog to chime in and help me post the correct procedures. If this average American is having a hard time finding the facts, those that hold our offices know this also, and that's what worries me the most. If they know it takes lots of research and work to start the process most will just give up and live with what they have elected. No matter which side of the fence you fall on, the American voter holds the reins on government and we need to know how to pull them!

Looking for your input. We are all public servants, including the President and his team, and we are all therefore accountable to the public for our achievements and mistakes on a continual basis. We are also accountable to the future and to history. " Senator Clinton - Jan 26 2005."

This was part of her speach regarding the confirmation hearing of Dr Rice, yet she does not hold the accountability standard high enough, she does not offer a, in her opinion, better canidate. I've created this blog in an attempt to highlight those in politics and public service that neither are held accountable or fail to hold those who work for them accountable. FACTS are what we're striving for here, not rhetoric! If it's not a fact, it's an opinion! If you dont have the FACTS to back up your statement, do the legwork and do the research!
Let's all share the facts, and ensure that those appointed to those positions of office raise their standards, not hide behind them.

Thanks
MaineMoose
